Saba Qamar starrer Hindi Medium has surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees generating INR3 billion at the worldwide box office.
Raees, which released on January 25 last year, collected about INR1.9 billion at the Indian box office and another INR95 million internationally – totaling up to INR2.8 billion.
However, Hindi Medium earned INR99 million in India, a lot lesser than what Raees made locally. However, it collected INR1.9 billion internationally.
What’s truly impressive is that most of Hindi Medium’s international collection comes from China, where the film is currently being shown. Summing up to a collection of INR2.9 billion at the international box office right now, Saba’s Bollywood debut is expected to earn a lot more.
