With a couple of duds in the recent past, Katrina Kaif is leaving no stone un-turned in promoting her upcoming release Baar Baar Dekho, directed by debutante director Nitya Mehra.
Along with her co-star, Sidharth Malhotra, she’s going all out taking the film to different cities and promoting it in the most quirky way possible. Katrina candidly elaborates in a recent interview that all the running around city to city promoting the film gets definitely very tiring and hectic but Baar Baar Dekho is a very important film for her.
She added that her previous release, Fitoor was not very well received at the box office and that was definitely heart breaking which makes it all the more important for her to rebound with a strong film that gets audiences’ love.”
While Katrina saw raging success for over half a decade (with a string of hit films), it was the sudden gap between her releases that shelved her progress albeit only two of her films, Phantom and Fitoor, failed at the box office.
Katrina’s career seems to be looking up and if reports are to be believed, she is likely to be teamed with Fawad Khan for Karan Johar’s next under Dharma Productions, to be directed by debutant director Aditya Dhar.
Katrina further clarified that she has not announced any of future films as yet. There are discussions happening right now with few different people on different projects but nothing is announced yet.
Baar Baar Dekho is set to release on 9th September 2016 by Distribution Club across Pakistan.
