The World’s No.1 sports drink Gatorade, hosted Pakistan’s biggest ever fitness marathon in Karachi at Moin Khan Academy on Sunday the 24th November! The event featured a press conference, a marathon race, a boot camp session and more.

Fitness guru Nusrat Hidyatullah took part in leading the way for the participants, bringing up the motivation throughout the boot camp session. The event was hosted by two of our favorite celebrities, the dynamic Khalid Malik and the brilliant Ayesha Omar, presenting all the entertainment we could have asked for. The #SweatAThon closed off with a concert performed by the fan favorite, legendary Pakistani rock group, Strings.

The participation by an enthusiastic crowd showed that Karachites are people who care about health and fitness. This was an opportunity for the people of Karachi to get their blood pumping, their energy up and show off their athletic abilities. Since the city has become more health conscious and is moving toward a more proactive and active lifestyle we were so excited to catch the contestants in action.

As if the marathon wasn’t exciting enough, the Strings performance was really the cherry on top of this epic festival. They introduced some new songs, tailor made for #SweatAThon. They also played some of their classic songs which we were thrilled to hear. We sang our hearts out and loved every minute of it!
