Maira Khan made her film debut in 2013 film Chambaili which she was nominated for at the ARY Film Award for Best Star Debut Female. Maira is also a Lux Award winner for her versatile role in drama serial Jee Chata Hai and since then it was never looking back for her– from commercials, hoardings, films to morning shows.
Being in the entertainment industry was always on the cards for Maira. She comes from and belongs to the entertainment industry; her mother Shakeela Anayat was a seasonal radio presenter and television actor. Back in the days, Maira used to visit her mother on sets and used to watch her act. She decided to follow her footsteps and accidentally got into acting at the young age of five.
Not only is she passionate about acting, but Maira is also a gym freak, a yogi, and loves dancing. All of these skills are being documented and will be soon on her YouTube channel which she is currently working on.
Currently, Maira is shooting for a film in Japan where she is playing the role of a vamp in an action-packed film and is giving her 100 percent to this role as its one of the most challenging one she has done so far.
Maira went on a two-year break to America and got back into acting with a bang. She scored herself a few roles and was seen in the much-loved drama serial Cheekh; in Bewafawhere she plays a unique role and was applauded by her fans internationally; in a comedy play Jado Gariyawhich is also getting her maximum amount of love from her fans around the world.
