Just when we thought Brad Pitt had kept away from the limelight since his split from Angelina Jolie, the actor hit the red carpet at the premiere of his new film, Allied, in LA on Wednesday night.
Aged 52, Brad appeared to be in high spirits at the event, happily posing for paparazzi and signing autographs for excited fans. As reported by E!News, “It’s really sweet, everyone has been really kind out here,” he said. “It’s really nice to have all the support.” This was Brad’s first high-profile event since the divorce.
Brad donned a dark suit and was joined at the premiere by his co-star Marion Cotillard, who looked ravishing in a deep blue dress showing a hint of her baby bump.
According to sources, multiple news outlets confirm that Brad has been cleared by the LA County Department of Children and Family Services after being investigated for alleged child abuse.
Angelina’s rep told Us Weekly earlier that, “Angelina said from the beginning that she felt she had to take action for the health of the family and is relieved that after their 8-week involvement, the DCFS is now satisfied the safeguards are put in place that will allow the children to heal.”
If close sources are to be trusted, the pair have not reached any new agreement regarding the custody of their children and Brad still plans to push for joint custody as he stated in his response to Angelina’s divorce petition earlier during the month.
