Pakistan Women Cricket Team Qualify for 2017 World Cup

As reported by espncricinfo, Pakistan women cricket team qualified for the upcoming Women’s World Cup in England.

Earlier Pakistan women cricket team lost to India women cricket team by seven wickets at Colombo’s P Sara Oval. Following their defeat, the only way the girls had a chance was if Bangladesh lost their final match to Sri Lanka or finish with an inferior run-rate than Pakistan. It did work in their favour as Bangladesh did end up losing to Sri Lanka by 42 runs in the match, leaving Pakistan to occupy the fourth and final qualifying spot with four points to their name.
